The Indexing Aluminum Aging Conveyor Oven was designed and built to age aluminum high volume automotive castings. The oven features automated load and unload conveying. With four stations the oven can process very high quantities of castings without constant supervision.

Zone 1: Load zone

Zone 2: Heat processing Zone

Zone 3: Air Cool Down Zone

Zone 4: Unload Zone

The oven is NFPA 86 Class A compliant with 234kw of Electric heat. With a maximum temperature of 550f the oven is even capable of aging with a thermal head. 17,000 cfm of recirculation air ensures great ramp rates and uniformity. The conveyor moves at up to 10ft per minute to allow for minimum down time between batches. An Allen Bradly Micrologix PLC controls the movement while a Honeywell udc2500 controls the heat.
